Certification

Do I need to update?

There is usually no need to update certificates unless regulations change, or you wish to upskill and update for personal/business reasons.

Does my certificate have an expiration date?

Technically no, unless regulations change, you should always keep up to date with this.

How do I arrange a printed copy of my certificate?

Printed certificates are only available on request, as since covid, it is safest/easiest and quickest to receive these via email - You can then print these and laminate as you wish.

What is a Certificate of Attendance?

A Statement of Attendance states that you have attended the course and completed the training but does not give you the Nationally recognised unit code.

What is a Statement of Attainment?

Statements of Attainment are documents (like a certificate) that show the units of competency that a student completes as part of a nationally recognised course.

Where is my Certificate?

If you are completed and awaiting a certificate, you can always contact our main office to ask for the process. Final marking of work can take 4 - 7 business days, and then the certificate itself takes a few days to issue officially. Please be aware we do not issue or mark work over weekends usually.

  • Standards for VET Accredited Courses 2021

This is a non accredited course that is created for the industry where there is a learning gap that can be met. This is a custom course much shorter than an accredited course where you will receive a certificate of attainment - not an accreditation.

What is the difference between Upper Body Piercing and Professional Body Piercing courses?

The main difference is The Upper Piercing course can be enrolled in from 16 years old - and covers mainly facial piercings, with theory and knowledge for other piercings as well. This is a popular add on to people working in Beauty or Hairdressing - who wish to offer piercing as a service in the future.

The Specialist Body Piercing course is our beginner’s course, for those who wish to solely focus on piercing - this contains all basic knowledge and history and is a deeper dive into piercing. This contains in depth theory about tongue and dermal/ implant base piercings which the upper body does not.
